There was an apparent gas lead in the house across the street. The police investigated, but discovered that the house had been wired with explosives. The only thing in the house was a box with a bright pink phone.
We switched on the phone, and there was a message “beep beep beep beep beep”
Five beeps is known as a warning. There was a picture of an empty flat, which was ours. We ran over and found a pair of trainer shoes.
The phone rang, and it was a woman crying. She had been kidnapped and wired with explosives. we had 12 hours to solve the mystery.
we went to Barts so that Sherlock could examine the trainers. Molly Hopper introduced us to her boyfriend, Jim, who worked in IT.
The trainers were 20 years old, and the pollen revealed they were from Sussex. Sherlock remembered a boy, Carl Powers, who died when Sherlock was a kid. Everyone assumed it was a swimming accident, but Sherlock was confused because the boy’s shoes were missing. Now, they have turned up.
The shoes had a trace of the poison Clostridium Botulinim and Sherlock concluded that the boy had been murdered. The poison had been introduced to Carl’s medicine.
The crying woman called and was allowed to tell where she was. The police found here and saved her, but then a new message came through

The killer was playing with Sherlock.
