It all happened when Sherlock and I were visiting the bank. An old friend of his called because someone had broken into the offices and sprayed graffiti across a painting.
Whoever did it, did not show up on CCTV. The offices were locked with no apparent sign of who did it.
Sherlock talked to one of the bankers, but they were dead already. The police through it was a suicide, and it looked like one. But Sherlock noticed that the gun was in the wrong hand.
Soo, there was another murder. A journalist was found in a locked room. How did the two men connect? Sherlock figured out that the graffiti was an ancient secret code.
Reading their diary led us to a Chinese emporium full of stuff, with of objects that had graffiti tags that were old Chinese numbers.
The flat above belonged to Soo Lin who worked at a museum. We found her hiding in the museum, fearing for her life. she was hiding there so she could continue to looking after some old Chinese teapots. she told us about a huge smuggling operation and of an assassin sent to kill those who betrayed the organization.
We worked out that the smuggling ring was trading in Chinese antiquities. Both the banker and the journalist were able to bring them into the UK because they traveled alot. We found out where they were selling the goods but needed to work out the code.
